Here’s How ProGet Empowered Swiss Re to Instantly Deliver Packages to Internally Distributed IT Teams and Maintain 100% Consistency Between Servers

Posted on .

Global risk management and insurance firm, Swiss Re, relies on its Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) team to maintain 4,500+ Windows servers across its widely distributed IT teams.

The IaaS team needed a solution that would:

  • integrate with the tools they already use, like Chocolatey and Puppet;
  • avoid the sporadic development and lack of focus of some free solutions;
  • deliver packages to their internal teams quickly, reliably, and consistently.

Additionally, the IaaS team hoped to work with a company small enough to care about their specific needs and offer fast, comprehensive customer service.
