Inedo
Introducing the Inedo Snack Box 🍵🍘
Inedo is a global company with dual headquarters in Cleveland (Ohio) and Tokyo, allowing us to serve customers in every time zone. But there’s another neat benefit —frequent travel between offices means that we can share tasty treats across borders.
That’s what inspired us to create the Inedo Snack Box. We recently sent these out to select users as a token of our appreciation; it was a lot of fun for us and the treats have been quite well received.

We’re already thinking about a “second edition” to send out later this year, perhaps after summer. But we wanted to expand the offering to more users —both free and paid. If you’re interested in some fun treats from Japan, just fill out our Inedo Snack Box Request Form and we’ll consider adding you to our distribution list. Quantities are obviously limited and we may need to pick randomly from eligible users.
A Taste of Japan
We’ve handpicked a mix of traditional, sweet, and savory snacks to give you a true taste of Japan:
- Traditional Delights
- Dorayaki: A fluffy pancake sandwich with sweet red bean paste.
- Nori Senbei: Crispy rice crackers wrapped in savory seaweed with a soy sauce kick.
- Yokan: A classic Japanese sweet made of red bean paste, agar, and sugar, perfect for tea time.
- Sweet Treats
- Pocky: Chocolate-coated biscuit sticks, one of Japan’s most iconic snacks.
- Dinosaur Chocolate: Fun, dinosaur-shaped chocolates that add a playful twist.
- Koala Choco: Adorable biscuits filled with creamy chocolate.
- Savory Snacks
- Fish Chips: Crispy and savory chips with a seafood twist.
- Baby Ramen: A crunchy snack resembling tiny ramen noodles.
- Kappa Ebisen: Addictive shrimp-flavored crackers.
Bonus: Inedo Kaizen Kit
We also wanted to share the Inedo Kaizen Kit, which is a hands-on tool that promotes reflection and iterative progress. It’s based on a Japanese method of Kaizen called KPT (Keep-Problem-Try) that has been instrumental in helping us with the user-driven development that we apply in our work with users.
KPT is a practical approach rooted in Japanese business philosophy, focused on continuous improvement through small, actionable steps. This method helps teams reflect on successes, tackle challenges, and explore ideas collaboratively, embodying “Kaizen” principles.
We’ll be writing more about this soon!
Looking Ahead
As we move into 2025, we’re excited about the opportunities to further enhance our products with user feedback and, of course, sending out the next batch of Inedo Snack Boxes. If your team would like one, don’t forget to add your name to the Inedo Snack Box Request Form.
