Important pricing information about new ProGet purchases and renewals

Posted on .

Over the past several years, ProGet has grown quite a bit in both capability and scope. Since our last pricing update in 2018, we’ve added new feed types, expanded our software composition analysis (SCA) features, and continued investing in product development and support.

To keep delivering improvements at the level you expect, we’re updating ProGet pricing for new purchases starting August 1, 2024. Below, we’ll walk through what’s changing, why we’re making this adjustment, and what it means for both new and existing customers.

New Pricing Effective August 2024

Starting August 1, 2024, the annual pricing for new ProGet licenses will be as follows:

  • ProGet Basic: $2,395
  • ProGet Enterprise: $11,995
  • ProGet Edge: starting at $59,995
  • ProGet ISV: starting at $11,995
  • ProGet Load Balanced: $7,195

These changes apply only to new purchases. Existing customers will not see any immediate changes to their current licensing or renewal pricing.

What This Means for Existing Customers

If you’re an existing ProGet customer, your current pricing will stay the same for your next renewal. This helps avoid disrupting any budgets that you have already set for 2024 or 2025.

You’ll also have the option to renew for multiple years at your current rate, which can push out any pricing changes even further. In most cases, that means any updates wouldn’t affect your organization until at least January 1, 2026, depending on your renewal timing.

You can review your license details and renewal date at any time through your My.Inedo account.

Continuing to Invest in ProGet

As ProGet continues to evolve, this pricing adjustment helps us keep investing in the product and the team behind it. That includes ongoing work in software composition analysis and container security, along with continued improvements to performance, scalability, and support.

Our focus pretty much remains the same; working to make ProGet a more capable and reliable platform for managing and securing software packages.
